Floor crossing, (in South African politics) is the most immoral and “skelm” law that I have ever witnessed. (Madiba should be cringing when he sees what  his successors are doing.)

For any non-South African  or non-Afrikaans speaking person who may be reading this post, a “skelm” is a crook and a cheat.

It follows that,  in my opinion,  any politician that uses floor crossing for his or her own personal gain is by definition a crook and a cheat.

To use “MY” vote to enrich yourself is immoral and “SICK.”

There is no doubt in my mind that 90% of the South African population agrees with me, so why then is it happening ?

I forget the actual words of wisdom but it was to the effect that “When good men do nothing, ………… (help me please.)

The only power that ordinary people like you and I have is to vote for who we believe are the good guys.

Please don’t waste it on self-proclaimed “Struggle Heroes”

I know that I am rambling now but, staying with politics, if Zuma and Manto have nothing to hide, then why do they need High Court judgements to supress certain documents ?

Please respond, I need to know that someone out there is listening.

I wanted to write some blog tonight but I couldn’t remember my user name or my pin.

No problem, I called my grandson and within seconds I was on line and typing this.

I have forgotten what my blog was all about but who cares, it just goes to show that old men and young boys can still help each other .

Minister Trevor Manuel is now being lauded for scrapping the proposed windfall tax on Sasol.

Well done Mr. Minister but who was the idiot that proposed the tax in the first place thereby discouraging or scaring off potentially billions of Rands of much needed investment ?
